Where it started
Nour never set out to make a statement.
She simply wanted to live her life fully, to move, to train, to feel strong.
Like many women in hijab, she grew up with unspoken limits.
Not written rules, not official barriers, just habits that quietly suggest where you belong, and where you don’t.
Joining a mixed gym was one of those moments. Something rarely done. Rarely discussed. Not forbidden just not expected.
So Nour tried.
She walked in, trained, moved, and stayed. And in doing so, she realized something important:
the challenge was never ability, it was access, comfort, and confidence.
Talk Breaking the silence
Some spaces felt inaccessible.
Not because of rules, but because of silence.Women in hijab rarely joined mixed gyms. Not because they couldn’t, but because they were never expected to.
Nour chose to show up. And presence, over time, was enough.
From experience to design
What Nour experienced wasn’t about sport alone.
It was about comfort. Movement. Feeling at ease while staying true to herself.
Finding the right outfit was harder than expected.
Most options felt either restrictive, impractical, or disconnected from real life.
So the idea became simple:
create pieces that allow movement without compromise, modest, comfortable, and made for everyday wear.
That’s where Nour Fashion began.
